Cleanliness is always the top of guests lists of priorities when they book a vacation home, and with Coronavirus (COVID-19) sweeping the world, the importance of property sanitizing and disinfecting a property between guests has never been more important.

For the majority of property managers and hosts, there shouldn’t be much in the way of changes to make if they already have their cleaners pay attention to detail, but with the current level of concern, this is a great time to reassess procedures and processes.

Durk Johnson – Executive Director of the Vacation Rental Housekeeping Professionals Association has been deeply involved in this operational side of the short-term rental industry for a couple of decades and brings all that experience to this interview.
